The Sir John Monash Centre is excited to introduce Digger Quest, our newest children’s app, which is available to all young visitors, ages 6 and up.

Our team has been working for over a year on the development of this fun and educational application. It will allow children to go on an adventure to discover Australia’s role on the Western Front during the First World War.

By completing the quests and exploring the Sir John Monash Centre exhibition in search of clues and answers, they will gain a better understanding of the journey Australians took in the war.

Our young visitors are guided through the Centre’s galleries by the various totems, Australian animals, and complete their quests at their own pace.

With a tablet, adventurers first explore Australia before discovering why this young nation fought alongside the Allies in World War I.

Through stories told by Australian soldiers and nurses, younger children can also immerse themselves in the daily lives of Australians in France during the First World War. Digger Quest ambassadors were the first to test the application and give us their feedback. 100% of our young testers approved!
