On 25 April 2023, an Anzac Day Dawn Service was held at the Australian National Memorial, marking the 108th anniversary of the Anzac landings at Gallipoli in 1915, and also the Battle of Villers Bretonneux which took place on the same date three years later.

On this occasion, more than 1,700 people from France, Australia and other countries came to commemorate and remember the Australian soldiers who have served and died in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping missions.

Attendees gathered in the early hours of the morning for the Dawn Service at the Australian National Memorial located between Fouilloy and Villers-Bretonneux.
