The Sir John Monash Centre joins the Somme Battlefields’ Partner network

The 2025 Sadlier Stokes prize laureates

On Anzac Day, April 25, the winners of the 37th Sadlier Stokes Prize were officially awarded their prizes by Her Excellency Ms Lynette Wood. Once again, the Sadlier Stokes Prize was a resounding success, with a large number of high-quality projects submitted from schools from across France, both mainland and overseas.

The Sir John Monash Centre receives the French “Tourism and Handicap” label

On 19 December 2024, the Sir John Monash Centre took a major step forward in its commitment to accessibility for all, by obtaining the ‘Tourisme & Handicap’ label for people with intellectual disabilities, reduced mobility, or who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Visit to the Western Front by the new Australian Ambassador to France

Last December, the Sir John Monash Centre welcomed a very special guest – the newly appointed Australian Ambassador to France, Her Excellency Ms Lynette Wood. During her visit, Her Excellency learned more about the Interpretative Centre, the Australian National Memorial, the Villers-Bretonneux Military Cemetery, and other sites in the vicinity.
