Visitors planning to attend 2023 Anzac Day Dawn Service at the Australian National Memorial, France can now book their free attendance passes online.
Passes are available at the Anzac Day Services ticketing website. Anyone planning to attend the Dawn Service in France must register for an attendance pass.
Those planning to travel from Australia to attend the service Anzac Day should ensure they are familiar with entry requirements for France and should monitor smartraveller.gov.au for the latest travel advice.
For those unable to attend the service, it will be broadcast live on the ABC in Australia.
Timing of the service
The official service will start at 5.30am and end at 6.30am.
There will be a preservice starting at 4am, including live musical performances, short-films, and readings.

The service will take place at the Australian National Memorial. The address is Route de Villers-Bretonneux, Fouilloy, France.
Free shuttles from Villers-Bretonneux
Free shuttles will run regularly between Villers-Bretonneux and the Australian National Memorial. Departure is from 1 rue de la Gare, Villers-Bretonneux. Last departure is at 4:45 AM. After the service, shuttles will be provided for the return journey to Villers-Bretonneux.
There will be a parking area near the shuttle departure point in Villers-Bretonneux.
The shuttles are accessible to people with disabilities and reduced mobility.
Somme Tourisme shuttles from Amiens
Somme Tourisme offers a shuttle service between Amiens and the Australian National Memorial. The round trip is €20.
Departure is at 2.30am in Amiens, 5 Place Alphonse Piquet – at the foot of the Tour Perret, opposite of the train station. The return journey is scheduled to arrive in Amiens at 8am.

Pays du Coquelicot shuttles from Albert
The Pays du Coquelicot tourist office offers a shuttle service between Albert and the Australian National Memorial. The round trip is 8€.
Departure is at 3.30am at Albert train station. The return journey is scheduled to arrive in Albert at 8.45am.

Private vehicles
There will be no public parking available at the Australian National Memorial. We ask participants to park in Villers-Bretonneux and to use the free shuttles.
Walk from nearby towns
Two designated pedestrian paths will be lit-up for patrons travelling on foot to the Australian National Memorial.

Tour operator coaches
Attendees travelling by tour coach will be dropped off and picked up at the Australian National Memorial.
