Posted on 10 June 2021

Sir John Monash Centre will reopen from 15 June 2021 with a great new feature, especially designed for young visitors: Digger Quest.

Available from the reopening of the Sir John Monash Centre, Digger Quest is a new visitor app aimed at all children aged 6 and over. It allows young visitors to go on an adventure with Australian soldiers to learn about Australia’s story on the Western Front during the First World War. Using a tablet provided by the museum staff, children will be able to complete quests and explore the exhibition in search of clues and answers to better understand the journey of Australian men and women on the battlefields of northern France and Belgium.

As the Sir John Monash Centre reopens, every precaution has been taken to make the experience safe and enjoyable. To ensure people can keep a safe distance from each other, all visitors will need to book a timed ticket online in advance to visit the galleries. Visitors will be able to enjoy the view from the top of the Australian National Memorial tower and visit the Villers-Bretonneux Military Cemetery.
