Australia Day is an opportunity for all Australians to remember our history, and to remember the men, women and events that have shaped our nation to continue to develop the ties that bind us.

We share this history with France. The trials of the First World War created unbreakable bonds between our nations, and we continue to commemorate this shared history together at the Sir John Monash Centre and along the Australian Remembrance Trail.

The Sir John Monash Centre and the Australian Department of Veterans’ Affairs warmly thank all those who contribute to sharing the Franco-Australian story. It is a pleasure to work with you.
